3A Player of the Week/Week 5 Stat Leaders

Contributing multiple ways in his team's impressive 37-14 victory against Northwest Christian in the Week 5 Game of the Week, Yuma Catholic's John Henderson has been selected as the 3A Player of the Week for Week 5. Henderson, as a junior wide receiver, hauled in six passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns (longest being a 75-yard play). He also scored on a punt return, finishing the night with 65 yards (longest being 45 yards). As a defensive back, Henderson was credited with four assisted tackles and two pass deflections.
