Anybody out there? Don't think I've seen a post since the beginning of the season.

I for one am excited about the tournament this year. Secion 1 (North) looks deep but there are a lot of other good teams out there.

My final 4:
Estrella vs Winslow

Snowflake vs Scottsdale (would love to see Tuba City knock them off tomorrow though)

Estrella vs Snowflake in the finals. Snowflake avenges their early season loss and repeats as state champs.

Who does everyone else have?

I really like where your head is at. I do believe that Snowflake has a shot at repeating, however, they need to put together 4 SOLID quarters to beat Estrella. If they play the way that they did against Window Rock, Tuba and Winslow in the regular season they beat Estrella going away. Estrella is tough, but lost to Mingus... badly. Playing in section 1 has been a good decision for Snowflake seeing how five teams got into the playoffs from section 1. Tough competition got them ready for this run. Go Lobos!!

I would not be surprised to see Winslow beat Estrella Foothills, but I don't expect it. At this stage in the tourney, any of these schools have a chance. Scottsdale Christian will be very tough, and probably has the best chance.

That said, Snowflake continues to be my favorite and I believe they could repeat.

As I look at the final 8 teams in Div. III, I think Window Rock and Cibola have the lowest chances of making it to the semis. However, it's dangerous to count out Window Rock with Coach Mendoza at the helm. With another big effort and the support of a huge rez crowd, Window Rock will probably give SCA a tough battle.

As a SF fan, the SF vs. North Canyon game is the one I care most about, and the one I worry most about. I think SF beats North Canyon every time when both teams play at their best. However, as we all know teams don't always have their best games. The quarterfinal round is especially dangerous in the big arena with different referees. Add to that the fact that North Canyon comes in with a chip on their shoulder after a tough loss here in SF a couple of weeks ago. This one will be a battle.
